  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or on-site
  • Perform on-site and/or remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of issues, including in-depth technical analysis, troubleshooting and resolving root causes; engaging with appropriate IT partners as needed to drive incident and problem management
  • Diagnose hardware, software, printing, and network connectivity issues
  • Work with management to ensure maximum availability of all systems within the Business Units
  • Deploy new hardware and software and perform maintenance on existing equipment
  • Research solutions to new problems and better solutions to existing problems
  • Participate in planning and implementing large scale projects
  • Perform maintenance for network equipment and servers
  • Log problem resolutions into a Support Ticketing System (Zendesk, SharePoint)
  • Create and maintain documentation of various systems and software programs
  • Serve as a driving force in the exploration of new technology to benefit the organization
  • Responsible for the setup, installation, maintenance and upgrades of computer hardware (including desktops, laptops, monitors, printers and other peripheral equipment) and software components including analysis of user needs and verifying inventory
  • Records and maintains asset information as it pertains to the Desktop Computing area at all points during the life cycle of the device (order, receiving, stock, deployment, move, retirement, and swap)
  • Works closely with IT Staff to develop “ Zero Administration” initiatives to centralize distribution of software, desktops, and other technology
  • Provides subject matter expertise in resolving incidents and problems and takes the lead in diagnosis and troubleshooting of PC technologies
  • Participates in planning, designing, and implementing client/server-based solutions (e.g. print* solutions)
  • Responsible for the build, development, troubleshooting and testing of computer images for desktop and laptop computers
  • Contributes to the project planning of hardware and software procurement process
  • Participates in developing and implementing automation as applicable
  • Provides server administration functions for Active Directory, file shares, central Antivirus server, software license servers, etc.
  • Update and maintain applicable adds, changes, and deletions

  • Proficiency with PC, Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Accuracy in scheduling and maintaining calendars, tracking report information, calculating certain metrics
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively without continuous supervision

Education and/or Experience
  • 3-5 years of IT Support
  • Experience in Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Active Directory, Administration and User Accounts
  • Understand networking, remote communications, hardware and other infra systems
  • Familiar with Remote Desktop Services, RDS Farms, RemoteApps, and RD Web
  • Experienced in Cisco Meraki networking equipment and Cisco Firepower firewall appliances
  • Knowledge in 8x8 phone system
  • Understanding in Microsoft Azure, Office 365, SQL Server, and VMWare.
