The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing customer service for internal in multiple departments by using excellent in-depth knowledge of company products and processes as well as communicating effectively with team members within the customer service department.



• Sales order entry

• Work with the Accounting department to establish or revise terms per customer requests

• Ensure orders on credit are reviewed and released in a timely manner

• Work with the Shipping department to ensure that orders are processed in a timely manner and, in accordance to requested shipping method

• Work with the Purchasing and Inventory Control departments to ensure orders are placed with vendors for out-of-stock items. Update order lead times

• Create and update part numbers and pricing in ERP system

• Ensure each order contains correct promotions and rebate codes

• Review backlog twice weekly to ensure all orders are fulfilled in a timely manner



• High School Diploma

• A minimum of 2-4 years of sales related customer service tasks and responsibilities

• Excellent communication both verbally and in writing

• Attention to detail

• Microsoft Office skills and knowledge (data entry)

• Prior experience utilizing an ERP system
