We specializes in a full range of medium-high voltage industrial electrical applications including EPC projects, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and emergency services.
What You'll Do:
The Electrical Design Engineer Lead’s role is to design and develop detailed drawings of the designs created by the Electrical Engineers. Will direct a team other Engineers and Drafters to modify and maintain existing drawings.
The Electrical Design Engineer Lead reports directly to the Principal Engineer.
Ability to take designs and notes from clients, engineers and projects to create designs.
Must stay up to date with changes in design tools and software in the electrical industry.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret designs, plans, contracts, technical reports and industry/trade agreements.
Ability to print, email or ship documents in whatever manner the customer chooses to receive them.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to work with computer software packages such as AutoCAD, AutoDesk, BlueBleam, Microsoft Office, database applications, industry specific software and other basic software programs.
Ability to communicate complex, technical material in a simple, clear and concise manner.
PLC and relay programming capabilities are a plus
Experience with EPC projects is also a plus
What We Are Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
Experience requires five to ten years of experience as an Electrical Engineer.
5-10 years of experience in high voltage design. Specifically looking for substation and power distribution system experience.
