What You'll Do:
- Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Must stay up to date with changes in drafting and design tools and software in the electrical industry.
What We Look For:
- Degree or certification in drafting from a college or technical school. Experience Prefers above requirement plus three to five years of experience as a Drafter.
- Specifically looking for substation and power distribution experience.
- Ability to take designs from engineers and create a drawing that accurately reflects the design.
- Ability to print, email or ship documents in whatever manner the customer chooses to receive them.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret designs, plans, contracts, technical reports, and industry/trade agreements.
- Ability to work with computer software packages such as AutoDesk, Microsoft Office, database applications industry specific software and other basic software programs.
- Ability to communicate complex, technical material in a simple, clear, and concise manner.
