  • Responsible for the design, development and testing of new products as well as supporting existing products.
  • Responsible for concept Analog design, parts selection, design simulation, detailed design, schematic and PWB Design Rules creation
  • Support the layout of the cards, card level debug and verification.
  • Support integration of the cards into complete systems including working with Software, Firmware, and Mechanical Engineers
  • Support customers as they integrate our products into their systems.
  • Lead special Research & Development project activities or investigations within the Electronic Engineering discipline.
  • Lead and coordinate all activities necessary to complete a electrical engineering project
  • Manage and prioritize multiple simultaneous activities
  • Lead tasks to improve the overall design process

Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum 5+ years of Power Supply Design experience with mil-spec or space programs
  • Solid analog design and debug skills
  • Experience with development tools for design capture, simulation, and debug. In particular experience with OrCAD Schematic Capture, PSpice (Hyperlynx is a Plus)
  • Design experience with different DC/DC types and sizes of power supplies as listed below is required:
  • Isolated and non isolated 28 V IN 10-250W, 1kW+ design experience is a plus.
  • Positive and negative DC voltages generation
  • Buck and Boost types power supplies
  • Design experience must include input filtering and protection, over voltage protection and under voltage monitoring and over current monitoring and protection
  • MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-461 compliant design experience
  • Must be able to analyze power supplies stability and reliability
  • AC/DC power supplies experience is a plus.
  • Must have knowledge and work experience with EMI/EMC principals and ESD and lightning protection
  • Familiarity with Worst Case circuit analysis, high reliability components, failure rate calculation principles, radiation effects (SEE and TID) on semiconductors.
  • Experience with Analog Interfaces such as RTDs, LVDTs, Unipolar and Differential ADCs, DACs, motor controls and servos is a plus
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as cohesively within a team environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) with MS desired.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or be authorized to work in the United States
