Provide technical expertise in performing customer non-conforming product evaluation test, troubleshoot and repair of field test failure as required.  
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose problems using the correct test equipment
  • Troubleshoot to the component level.
  • Test to the unit level and PCB level.
  • Interpret schematics and drawings.
  • Perform modification skills on a technical level.
  • Typing ability to complete forms electronically.
  • Work with a minimum amount of supervision.
  • Computer knowledge required. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
  • Associate’ s Degree or Certificate in Electronics Technology from a two-year college or, technical school or, related experience/ or training in the field or on the bench.
  • Specialized equipment used in this job.
  • Must have a thorough understanding of analog and digital circuits.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot to the component level. Passing score on the company technician test.
  • Knowledge of analog and digital circuits.
  • Possess excellent soldering skills in both through hole and/ or surface Digital Volt Meters, Frequency Counters, Spectrum Analyzers and all appropriate troubleshooting general purpose equipment. 

Additional Desired Skills and Qualifications:
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as drawings, schematics, test procedures, and engineering specifications.
  • Technical writing skills required for internal and external documentation.
  • Ability to communicate on a technical level with engineers, customers, and coworkers. 
  • Ability to comprehend instructions, specifications, and policies communicated in written, oral, and/ or diagram form. 

Shifts (Flexible):
  • 4 day, 10 hour shifts or  5 day, 8 hour shifts.
  • 5: 00 am or 6: 00 am start time.
