Hardware Development Manager

The Manager, Hardware is a key technical contributor for bringing Advanced Technologies to client.  This role is responsible for defining, developing, licensing, purchasing, integrating, testing, analyzing and/or delivering advanced technology hardware for the next generation of attractions and systems.  To achieve these responsibilities the Manager, Hardware is expected to perform technical writing, creating specifications, vendor selection, vendor management and coordination with other Creative teams and other various internal divisions and external hardware/software vendors.  


• Advanced Vendor Management & Negotiating

• Strong background in sourcing, logistics, production management

• Advanced Experience in appropriate disciplines for particular position

o Manufacturing and delivering devices at large scale

o Working with foreign manufacturing plants (China, Korea, etc.)

o Embedded computer chip design/System on a Chip

o Various RF technologies (RFID, UHF, Wi-Fi, etc.)

o Strong understanding of UX IE design

o Wearable/Mobile hardware

o Haptics

o Head Mounted /Heads Up Displays

• Strong troubleshooting skills

• Ability to “ think outside the box” to deliver creative solutions to challenges.

• Ability to work well in a team environment.

• Excellent Customer Focus

• Strong Communication skills

• Strong Team orientation and excellent interpersonal skills

• Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills

• Self-Motivated, particularly with regards to maintaining technical skills

• Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, and work under pressure.

• Able to be flexible working on both long term and short term projects

• Passionate about software technologies

EDUCATION:  Bachelor’ s degree required, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, and/other engineering majors. Advanced degrees preferred.
