Job Summary:
Seeking a Lead Frontend Engineer to join our Engineering team. As the Lead Frontend Engineer, you will work closely with leadership and our Product team to lead and develop responsive and mobile friendly webpages, while keeping in mind web and mobile view constraints. The Lead Frontend Engineer will report to our VP of Engineering out of our Los Angeles office.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
• Follow overall architectural principles, frameworks, and standards
• Help design solutions that are enterprise scalable and maintainable
• Select and integrate open-source frameworks
• Troubleshoot issues in existing applications
• Provide input into long-range product requirements, best practices, and operational guidelines, with focus on continuous improvement of platform reliability and serviceability
• Ensure that we are continuously raising our standard of engineering excellence
• SaaS software platforms are developed as scalable, high performing and maintainable solutions using best practices and current technologies
• Scalability methodologies are well understood and implemented in a consistent and robust manner
• Translate use cases into functional applications
• Create design documents from software requirements
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, reliable and scalable software
• Identify performance bottlenecks and develop solutions to these problems
• Identify and implement key application metrics and monitoring solutions
You’ll Be Successful If You Have:
• 4+ years of Frontend experience
• Master of HTML5 / CSS / JavaScript / TypeScript
• Advanced knowledge in Angular 4+ or React
• Advanced knowledge Node.js
• Advanced knowledge in JavaScript State Machines - XState
• Experience with Stencil is a toolchain for building reusable, scalable Design Systems
• Experience with LESS / Sass / ES6 / jQuery / AJAX
• Extensive experience with REST API integration and tools such as Postman
• Experience with NPM and Webpack
• Experience with popular IDEs such as VSCode, Eclipse
• Experience in responsive design, understanding of mobile web view, and a mobile first approach
• Good understanding of UX/UI, Usability, and Accessibility
• Great at bridging browser inconsistencies
• Highly organized and disciplined, writing clean, stable, reusable code, with great attention to detail
• knowledge of Data structure and algorithm
• Advanced knowledge in API security best practices, Authentication/Authorization
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application how it fits into a larger, distributed system
• Ability to work well independently, as well as collaboratively, to take initiative, and to maintain productivity under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail
• Experience working with cross functional teams including business analysts, UI/UX designers, software developers, and QA analysts
• Ability to write clean, readable, secure code and adhere to team’s coding guidelines
• BS in computer science or related engineering field
