Maintenance Outage Coordinator
Carbon Materials and Chemicals Stickney, IL
Reports to: Maintenance Superintendent
Job Responsibilities
• Develop detailed work schedules for all planned plant outages
• Develop work scopes for all planned plant outage tasks and solicit contractor bids as required
• Order all parts, supplies and equipment required for efficient completion of outage related work and ensure all are received prior to the beginning of the outage
• Develop work instructions and JSA’s for outage work as required
• Track outage contractor, labor and material expenses and ensure compliance with budgets
• Initiate and execute Management of Change projects and documentation
• Manage the mechanical integrity tasks related to routine plant outages
• Ensure the safe and timely execution of outage related tasks
• Provide planning and oversight support during unscheduled plant outages
• Completion of all required safety trainings
Qualifications
• Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
• 5 years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment required
• 3 years of maintenance planning or maintenance supervision preferred
• Demonstrates acceptable retention level for the required training elements.
• DOT Hazardous Materials Transportation training
• Knowledge of API, ASME and PSM standards preferred
