Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling maintenance and repair of tools and material handling equipment. 
  • Orders, receives, and stores parts and safety supplies. 
  • Creates and maintains spare parts lists. 
  • Organizes all received parts in storage racks or delivers to appropriate party in a timely manner.
  • Requesting and secures materials, equipment and supplies needed to complete jobs in a timely manner. 
  • Helps determine material requirements and prices, helps negotiate best values from vendors, and obtains purchase approvals and arranges for purchase as needed. 
  • Coordinating work assignments with internal/external personnel. 
  • Coordinating the efforts of outside contractors as necessary.
  • Determining fast moving or emergency standby-by items to be stocked. 
  • Obtaining purchase approval and develop stock load and reorder points.
  • Arranging for snow removal and grounds maintenance.
  • Conducting monthly fire extinguisher inspections.
  • Being a member of site safety committee.
  • Facilitating disposal of all recycling material, to include oil, metal, cardboard, bag film and waste material throughout the plant using multiple vendors.
  • Maintenance coordination of all material handling equipment to include scissors lifts and man lifts.
  • Supervising housekeeping personnel to ensure the cleaning of all administrative and restroom areas.
  • Additionally to coordinate the cleaning of all administrative floor surfaces though the use of outside vendor sources.
  • Inputs parts with quantity and cost into Maintmizer system. 
  • Ensures all parts received are tagged with the appropriate part number or barcode prior to storage.

Required Education, Knowledge, and Skills:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • One year certificate from an accredited college or technical school.
  • Ability to read manufacturer catalogs and parts lists and accurate identify parts.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively in a team oriented environment.
  • Maintenance coordination and ordering parts experience.
  • Knowledge of industrial safety rules and best practices.
  • Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and CMMS.
  • Ability to safely operate forklift and pallet jack.
  • Ability to safely lift/move up to 50 lbs.

  • Fellow Associates.
  • Plant Engineer.
  • Engineering Manager.

Additional Information:
  • Non-Union.
  • Scheduled Hours: Monday - Friday (8: 30am-5: 00pm w/flex).
