As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for the manufacturing of products in accordance with standard operating procedures. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will assist on the Product Finishing Team. The hours for this role will be predominantly shift work. Flexibility to fit production requirements will be necessary.

Top Requirements from the Manager:
  • This is an entry level 1 position so an energetic and motivated person that is dependable is what we are looking for in order to not cause disruptions to the team as we are very high pace and high throughput.  
  • Ability to work in a team based environment in order to meet schedules.
  • GDP (Good Documentation Practices) experience.
  • Automated machine experience – Strongly desired (Candidates with this experience will have priority consideration).
  • Experience with Microsoft programs.
  • Ability to follow controlled batch records written in English.
  • Ability to work 1: 00pm to 9: 30pm Plus OT – sometimes will start earlier or stay later and will include most Saturdays.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Full responsibility for the manufacturing of products.
  • Complete all Production tasks as scheduled on a daily and weekly basis.
  • To report to the Team Leader / Production Supervisor any safety or production related problems.
  • Ensure plant hygiene and housekeeping is always maintained.
  • Report and identify problems associated with machinery breakdowns.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures with impeccable adherence and report any problems with documentation.
  • Notify Team Leader / Production Supervisor of packaging and consumable needs.
  • Participate in appropriate meetings and discussions as required.
  • All other reasonable tasks as may be requested by the Team Leader and/or the production.

Supervisor Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent is required and must be verifiable – regardless, if the candidate attended school outside of the country or if graduation occurred many years prior.
  • Experience working in a production environment – Strongly Desired (Candidates with this experience will have priority consideration).
  • Proactive and motivated.
  • Technical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift 50 lbs.
  • Experience with Good Documentation Practices and a degree in a science discipline is desired.
