Job Description
Position Summary & Responsibilities
Mechanical CAD Drafter with mid-level experience in mechanical design documentation
Position Responsibilities:
- General engineering documentation, setup, and management
- Engineering BOM creation, documentation creation and updates
- Design of components under the guidance of engineers
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
Required:
- Associates degree in CAD for Electro-Mechanical designs
- 2-3 years’ experience in CAD modeling and documentation of Electro-Mechanical products preferably in connectors
- CREO Parametric 3D Modeling/Documentation experience
- ASME Y14.5 Dimensioning and Tolerancing, including GD&T
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Highly self-motivated, a willingness to make a difference and learn
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with different engineering team members
- Working knowledge of MS Office products such as Excel, Word etc...
Preferred
- Knowledge in electrical connectors and the Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Electrical Cabling, Fiber Optics/Cabling knowledge a plus
- Knowledge in the documentation of high-performance thermoplastics, aluminum and copper alloy components
- A career objective to advance towards an engineering role
