Design and development of new products and systems of precision paper processing and finishing machines.
JOB FUNCTIONS
Collaborate and cooperate within a manufacturing/engineering team to resolve issues and successfully achieve targets and goals.
Develop new design concepts and participate in prototype builds to assess issues and risks.
Develop product structures and manufacturing processes.
Estimate cost limits and budgets for new designs.
Certified Solidworks Professional in Mechanical Design, proficient with PDM functions, to design product models and document component parts according to documentation standards.
Maintain and update existing engineering records and designs.
Identify solutions and improvements to existing products as part of a continuous improvement process.
POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in design engineering, engineering, product design, or relevant field.
A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office applications. Inventory systems experience is a plus.
Accuracy and a strong attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
