Well rounded skill set and background in following areas:
  • Sound knowledge of digital communication systems, extensive skills for embedded system design with microchip microcntroller, and TI DSP chip.
  • In-depth knowledge for signal processing algorithms, adaptive filters, time-domain and frequency domain processing, multi-rate processing.
  • Sound knowledge of wireless, antenna; multimedia transportation with twist-wires or optical fibre a plus.
  • Profound technical background for noise characterization and noise reduction.
  • application of acoustics
  • Design, analysis and control of sound.
  • Reduction of unwanted noise, noise control.
  • Measuring, quantifying and analyzing sounds and vibration.
  • Understand fundamentals of acoustics and vibration, engineering acoustics, noise control, digital signal processing, electroacoustics, human responses to acoustics and vibration
  • Engage in data collection, modeling, and post-processing
  • Document and analyze sound and noise profiles in conjunction with other critical design factors
  • Conduct field measurements and inspections
  • software skills like CAD modeling and other 3D acoustics models (CATT, EASE, Odeon, Matlab, simulink, ProTools, Audition, MaxMSP, Excel, Visual Basic, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, etc.)
  • Understand regulatory code and standard across industries as they relate to noise and sound-mitigation
  • Review engineering and architectural drawings
  • Offer recommendations to steer company and project direction while remaining within the scope of the senior engineering role
  • Plan and organize project timelines, budgets and benchmarks
  • Interpret process flow/mechanical/electrical drawings and offer critical feedback on how they might affect a project
  • Schematic capture, PCB layout design, circuit design, embedded design
  • Hands-on experience with creating prototypes, system development, and product integration
  • Experience with LCD display technologies such as eDP and LVDS; experience with touch screen interface and programming.
  • Experience with 8/16/32 bit microcontroller based designs using Microchip PIC processors
  • Experience with microprocessor based designs with Freescale i.MX6 ARM Cortex A9
  • Power supply and charging circuit design
  • Power saving techniques to create handheld, battery powered devices
  • Analog circuit design with SPICE simulation using cadence design systems and TI-Tina.
