Senior Manager, Digital Release & Business Strategy

Job Description
Will play a critical role in creating and maintaining the digital foundations for the launch and support of IP for current and future games or products. The individual is responsible for managing the tasks, individuals, and operations for the digital Business Strategy department. The role is deeply involved in digital store business, partner and 1st party digital project relationships, digital store setup procedures, overseeing contracts and legal reviews, and coordinating digital projects with other departments or regions. The Senior Manager, Digital Release & Business Strategy is also responsible for guiding sales and promotional approvals for digital products in the Americas. This position reports to the Senior Director of Business Strategy, Sales, and Operations and will have team members reporting to the role. The responsibilities listed are not all inclusive and additional duties and tasks will be assigned as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate within company on digital promotions, new business opportunities, digital store setup, new product analysis, and any other task that are assigned by either the Senior Director of the department or the President.
- Collaborate new business initiatives with all branch offices.
- Oversee the digital store setup and flow for new and existing game products and Intellectual Property.
- Review and manage incremental revenue generating opportunities to achieve budget goals.
- Work with team members to analyze the results of promotions and discuss next steps with the global teams.
- One of the primary contacts with external partners (Sony, Microsoft, Steam, Nintendo, GOG, Roblox, Aspyr, etc.)
- Manage business partnership with 1st Party and external partners.
- Lead communications with key teams globally.
- Analyze current and future market and consumer trends to determine appropriate business opportunities.
- Work with other departments (Brand, Sales, Finance, etc.) to ensure a smooth workflow across all departments.
Qualifications:
- 7 - 10+ years experience in digital operations, store setup, digital sales, promotions and release planning.
- Complete knowledge of processing content submissions, assets, metadata, and pricing.
- Strong understanding of the video game industry and digital games (console & PC).
- Ability to department lead teams, individual and create clear directives and roadmaps.
- Previous experiencing securing promotional opportunities for digital games on 1st Party platforms (console & PC).
- Demonstrated ability to work across multiple groups (Sales, Marketing, Social, PR).
- Strong presentation skills and ability to develop proposals.
- Good working understanding of Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and cross business relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Familiarity of company products a plus.
- Established relationships with partners like Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo and Valve a plus
- Bilingual in Japanese a plus.
- Experience in mobile gaming a plus.
