PEAK is looking for a Senior Product Manager for a growing network security client of ours in San Jose, CA.

PEAK is looking for a Senior Product Manager for a growing network security client of ours in San Jose, CA.
- We are looking for a hands-on candidate to contribute to & grow the Virtual and Container Application Delivery solutions in the emerging Hybrid and Multi-Cloud markets.
- You have experience designing, developing, deploying, or operations of Application Delivery services with either large Service Providers, Web 2.0’s, or Enterprises.
- You will be a technical evangelist, promoting your product and solutions to customers, channel & sales, marketing, and working with the engineering team to define and deliver product roadmaps.
- You have a good understanding of networking and security concepts in one of the Public Clouds (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Container ecosystems.
- The ideal candidate has in-depth experience with either one or more of the following: Application Delivery Controller (ADC), Secure Web Gateway (SWG), or Web Application Firewall (WAF).
- Engage with field personnel, understand customer requirements, use-cases, and end-user-journey and feed these details to engineering (Dev/QA) via PRD’s and Jira requests.
- Work with solutions architects and technical product marketing to create technical solution briefs and other collateral to enable sales and field engineers.
- Work closely with product marketing and sales operation teams to launch your product and solutions and create a path for customer adoption.
- Lead customer engagement by presenting the Cloud Application Delivery Services roadmap in Executive Briefings and customer engagements.
- Drive product priorities, pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategies with the Directors and VP of Product Management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Bachelor of Engineering/Computer Science with five years of experience with Networking and Security Technologies.
- Prior experience in a technical role, including engineering, sales engineering, TAC, and Escalation or technical marketing.
- In-depth technical knowledge of L4-7 Networking, Network Security, Web-security, and Automation.
- Domain expertise in IP networking, particularly data center networking, application delivery controllers (ADC), Firewalls, other security technologies, and API-based automation tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Hands-on experience in setting up lab or production networks.
- Ability to simplify complex tasks and translate simplification ideas for complex products.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional environment with sometimes geographically dispersed team members.
- Ability to thrive in an environment requiring significant multitasking/content switching.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written) and technical writing skills (English).
- Ability to work under limited supervision in defining initial goals and addressing complex issues.
- Excellent understanding of the industry landscape (competitors and partners).
- Highly proficient and thorough understanding of tools and techniques Deployed in IT solutions on Public Cloud.
