Job Description

Our company is looking for a Senior Test Technician to join our team.  We have an exciting line of high-performance test systems that support the semiconductor industry around the world.  This is a unique opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, proactive, hands-on and able to work successfully in a stimulating environment. 
 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot, Test, and Repair Electronics Systems, Assemblies, Modules, and PCBA’s to component level using schematics and other technical documents.
  • Install and assemble New Electro-mechanical Equipment and Components including rework using soldering tools & equipment.
  • Assist production and Engineering with miscellaneous tasks.
  • Update Software and Run Tests on Existing equipment.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance.
  • Maintain Reports and Manuals.
  • Enter failure data and reports into RMA Database.
  • Analyze and Interpret test data.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Some travel may be required to local suppliers.
 
Requirements
Requirements, Education & Skills:
  • Associates degree in Electronics or 8+ years equivalent experience.
  • Able to perform proper use of equipment (Oscilloscope, DMM, Power Supplies).
  • RMA process experience.
  • Strong electro-mechanical assembly skills.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and related software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a challenging environment.
  • Ability to thrive in and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • This is an on-site role in our Lake Forrest, CA office.

Salary Range: $52,000 - $72,800
