PEAK is seeking an imaging systems engineer to develop and optimize algorithms and software tools for real-time medical ultrasound imaging. You will partner with highly accomplished and deeply technical researchers and engineers focused on delivering innovative ultrasound imaging technologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and optimize advanced image forming, image processing, and AI-based signal processing algorithms. This will involve the development of Matlab/Python-based simulation tools, verification and testing of signal/image processing algorithm and software tools, and creation of technical documents.

Drive the optimization of imaging parameters through theoretical and numerical Matlab simulations or experimental measurements.

Proactively interface with the software team to ensure all technical aspects of algorithm development are properly implemented
REQUIREMENTS:

M.S. in biomedical engineering in a field related to signal/image processing or analysis.

Experienced with Matlab or equivalent signal/image processing toolbox.

Experience with C/C++ and Python is highly desirable.

Experience with algorithm development with GPU is a plus.

Demonstrates a methodical approach and ability to thrive in an environment of innovation in advanced image analysis techniques and applications.
