Senior Manager, Business Strategy

The Senior Manager, Business Strategy, is responsible for managing daily tasks and operations for the Business Strategy department.  This includes managing all aspects of the digital business, supervising the digital store setup, overseeing any contractual tasks with legal, and coordinating / communicating the various projects and tasks with management.  The Senior Manager, Business Strategy is also responsible for guiding sales / promotional approvals.  This position reports to the Senior Director of Business Strategy, Sales, and Operations.  The responsibilities listed are not all inclusive and additional duties and tasks will be assigned as needed.

  • Coordinate on digital promotions, new business opportunities, digital store setup, new product analysis, and any other task that are assigned by either the Senior Director of the department or the President.
  • Coordinate new business initiatives with all branch offices.
  • Manage the digital store set up and flow.
  • Review and manage incremental revenue generating opportunities to satisfy our yearly budget.
  • Analyze the results of promotions to determine proper next steps with the global teams.
  • One of the primary contacts with our first party partners (Sony, Microsoft, Steam, Nintendo, GOG, Roblox, Aspyr, etc.)
  • Manage business partnership with 1st Party
  • Support communications with HQ on pertinent tasks.
  • Keep in touch with market and consumer trends to determine appropriate business opportunities.
  • Work with other departments (Marketing, Sales, Finance, etc.) to ensure a smooth workflow across all departments.

  • 5-10+ years experiencing of digital operations working with Sony, Microsoft, Steam, and Nintendo; processing content submissions, assets, metadata, and pricing.
  • Strong understanding of the video game industry and digital games (console & PC).
  • Previous experiencing securing promotional opportunities for digital games on 1st Party platforms (console & PC).
  • Demonstrated ability to work across multiple groups (Sales, Marketing, Social, PR).
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to develop proposals.
  • Good working understanding of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Established relationships with Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo and Valve a plus
  • Bilingual in Japanese a plus.
  • Experience in mobile gaming a plus

Salary: $130,000.00- $140,000.00/Year
