There is a significant backlog of projects, including a variety of planning, design, and construction projects involving water supply, water treatment, wastewater conveyance, wastewater treatment and Infiltration and Inflow (I/I) studies. Job Description
Location: can be in Sugar Grove, Itasca, or Rockford office
Summary:
We are seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to work in the Environmental Group of a mid-sized Civil Engineering/Design firm. There is a significant backlog of projects, including a variety of planning, design, and construction projects involving water supply, water treatment, wastewater conveyance, wastewater treatment and Infiltration and Inflow (I/I) studies. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong communication, project collaboration and teamwork.
Responsibilities include:
- Participation with project team, reporting to Project Manager
- Prepare water and wastewater system reports
- Design water supply, water treatment, pump stations and wastewater treatment facilities
- Provide construction phase engineering services for water and wastewater projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Prefer five (5) – seven (7) years of design and construction engineering experience on water and wastewater systems
- A licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A valid driver’s license
