The Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for integrating test automation industry standards and best practices. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
- Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.
- Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.
- Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability.
- Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field or 2+ more years of equivalent experience.
- Proven experience 4 + years as a Test Automation Engineer.
- Java
- IDE e.g. IntelliJ, Eclipse, netbeans
- Selenium
- Java Test Framework e.g. TestNg or JUnit.
- Linux and command line tools
- Git
- Jenkins
- U.S Citizenship with the ability to obtain a DoD VA High Risk Clearance
Preferred
- 6+ years of industry experience is preferred.
- Master’s Degree in, Computer Science or related technical field.
