Theft Analyst I

Job Description
- Review and analyze videos to identify theft behavior.
- Characterize theft related events based on behavior traits while meticulously recording them within a database via the StorePort application to enable high resolution customer reporting.
- Mine data and provide concise and consumable reports
- Surface and monitor trends that are cooccurring within the data
- Explore and examine data from a variety of angles
- Perform predictive analysis through analyzing historical trend data
- Identify areas of strength and surface where improvement may be needed
- Work with Product Management Team on product roadmap development based on findings
- Explore and examine data from a variety of angles to surface trends and valuable insights.
- Develop and refine best practices approach to collecting and reporting theft activity data to customers.
- Perform investigations to surface habitual theft offenders and work directly with customers for communicating the information and guiding coordinated shrink reduction initiatives.
- Work closely with retail customer to help develop partnership programs around shrink reduction initiatives guided by classification services data insights, trends, and best practices while collecting and managing VOC (voice of customer) to guide internal product & services roadmaps.
- Manage and maintain day-to-day quality of services by performing audits and training to extended video classification teams and while working with the team at refining methodology for detecting and tracking theft activities via video classification services.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to work closely with customers while developing and maintaining strong partnerships.
- Commitment to review many hours of videos each day with a high degree of focus.
- Experience with launching investigations and seeing them through to conclusions while gathering, organizing, and presenting all important & critical information in direct support of findings.
- Ability to observe and characterize suspicious behaviors and with acute awareness of small or subtle details.
- Experience with retail asset protection and loss prevention
- Data Mining
- Data Modeling
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 5 Years or more of experiences within Retail Loss Prevention or retail store management
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- A high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
- Competency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Good organization and communication skills

Pay Rate: $22.00-$25.00/Hour
