  • Ability to allocate time and resources to ensure the highest quality in video, editing and compositing production.
  • Maintain productivity, output and deadlines for the video services department.
  • Provide feedback to Producers on the quality of their products.
  • Coordinate production in all areas of video service.
  • Ensure proper use of allocated funds on a case-by-case basis.
  • Ensure proper protocols are being met for a productive environment.
  • Capable of making pipeline choices, budgetary constraint analysis and video service choices early on in the production phase.
  • Be able to evaluate pipelines to maximize time and throughput.
  • Contribute to the artistic creation of video and marketing trailers to minimize production pitfalls.
  • Communicate with clients to update them on process and procedure.
  • Should be capable of directing clients on necessary deliverables both in and out of the video service group. Oversee script and budget analysis to maintain client targets.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and assignments, while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Insure the viability of the department and how it works with Product Development and the Marketing group.
  • Conduct workflow analysis to insure proper procedures and techniques are being followed.
  • Conduct time study analysis for all aspects of Video Service production to utilize during the budgeting process.
  • Create on target videos for games and marketing endeavors.
  • Create and Maintain production schedules, while developing and maintaining interpersonal relationships.
  • Provide assistance to Producers to ensure creative and innovative ideas.

  • Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.

  • Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • Builds productive internal/external working relationships.

  • Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.

  • Typically requires 0-3 years of related experience.

Additional Job Details:  
  • The role of the Video Production Specialist (Entry) is to prep incoming files for the editorial and CG team as well as apply branding, legal and any localization work.
  • This includes but is not limited to trailers, marketing videos and other content generated by the video production department.
  • The editor needs fundamental design experience and familiarity with digital video/photography equipment and image and video manipulation software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and non-linear editing such as Final Cut, Avid, and Premiere.
  • Responsibilities include digitizing, editing and applying various items of the product elements which includes branding, legal, call to action items “ CTA”, subtitle work as well as quality control check of all assets.
