Job Description
PEAK is looking for a Warehouse & Logistics Manager for a growing OEM contract manufacturer in Silicon Valley. This is a full time, direct role. This role manages, controls materials planning, inventory control, storage, shipping and receiving function.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages, controls and directs the activities and staff involved in the distribution of in-house inventory to the production line.
- Ensures the timely delivery of materials at the most economical cost, consistent with quality standards, affecting quality by assuring that suspicious material is identified and that material is handled, stored and delivered properly.
- Coordinates with customers, purchasing, project managers and warehouse managers.
- Expedites parts, warehouse parts and ensures the disposition of discrepant material.
- Responsible for accurate inventory cycle counts.
- Provides for the proper shipping and documentation of finished goods.
- Supervises and directs the activities of subordinate employees.
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent.
- A minimum of three to five years of material experience, including supervision.
- APICS certification is desirable.
- 5~10 years’ Warehouse experience.
- Has academic functional skills needed to perform assigned tasks.
- Computer literate.
- Strong communication skill.
- Familiar with SAP Preference: Prefer to speak Mandarin Chinese.
